It could possibly have been Iron Man 3 which is also filming in NC this summer? I don't think THG starts for another month or so since the director has only been on the job for 10 days so far.

As soon as I met Finnick and understood him, all I could picture was Jensen. He would play him SO WELL. First, they're both fucking gorgeous. Second, Jensen plays hurt and depressed so fucking well. He'd play Finnick perfectly!

I don't blame Jensen for wanting to enjoy his vacation from SPN by spending it with his wife. I don't blame Jared for wanting the same thing. Let the men enjoy their free time without having to work straight through. They will have careers after SPN and that's good enough for me.

Since I recently finished the books, I totally agree.

Jensen could totally pull it off. He'd have to miss a few cons, but it would be worth it.

That would have been pretty awesome. One of the things the roommate and I do on long car trips is dream-cast our favorite books and Jensen Ackles was our first pick for Finnick Odair. Oh well.

The part of me that works like a dog for 9 months out of the year and slows down (not even breaks) for the rest of the months understands the rationale (if this speculation is true) but the fan in me of THG and Jensen is weeping inside.

I know, I KNOW! I love those guys. And I want them to have vacations. (Even if I haven't had more than 8 consecutive days off since before first grade :P ) But I also love my characters and I want them to be played by people that are awesome. And Jensen. Is. Awesome.
